New partnership with INEA
We are in the process of forging a partnership with INEA. Our objective will be to propagate endangered species from the Atlantic Forest.
The
Dalbergia Nigra Brazil project has a potential consultant role for Kew Gardens.
We are planning to propagate Dalbergia nigra.
We plan to use our saplings for existing reforestation projects as well as the landscaping projects of City Centers.

Fire raging during the night
The aftermath
Fire at Serra da Beleza
A criminal act of arson started a fire at Serra da Beleza of the evening of September 11th.
The flames roared for over a week decimating 1750 hectares of woodland and precious endangered wildlife.
The fire spread down the valley towards Santa Isabel do Rio Preto. In its wake it tragically destroyed the ancient Kikombo of São José da Serra, a protected area given by the Nation to former Afro-descendant slaves.

Reforestation page for more information.
